Reports:

Mowing: No complaints

Highways: Cllrs Forrester and Batchelor supervised gulley cleaning. A few drain covers/grips could not be picked up, but nearby jetting of drains worked. Along Brook Lane, the main drain was checked which was running well, however, a drain underground was causing an overflow into a secondary drain which was blocked. This has since been cleaned. An overflow drain may still be blocked and it was suggested that County need to be involved and Cllr Winnington agreed to do this. It was suggested that a site meeting with representatives from the county council be held.

Action: Cllr Winnington will approach the county council.

Cllr Winnginton reported a road closure along Butt Lane where potholes should be fixed soon.

Footpaths: Nothing further to report.

Gulleys and weeding:

Cllr Batchelor stated that the drains had been cleaned and checked by the company carrying out the work.

Weeding should be carried out during the summer. After winter, the local roads will need another road sweep.

Action: Contact Streetscene and ask about scheduling a sweep.
