19/22 Previous minutes:
Minutes of June 20th 2019 were agreed as a true record.
18/23 Questions from the public
None were in attendance
19/24 Finance matters
There have been continuous problems with Nat West Bank and a new form has been signed to action correct change of address and signatories for the account.
19/25 Accounts to date: Accounts were presented for the financial year 2018/2019. There have been no outgoings since the previous meeting as there are no cheques left in the cheque book.
Cllr Forrester signed the AGAR confirming the totals of last year's bank accounts.
19/26 Reports:
Mowing: Mowing has been kept up to date. A section was missed but this was later completed by Streetscene.
Highways: Stocking Lane potholes have been repaired along the full length of road.
Footpaths: Nothing further to report. No complaints from the public.
Gulleys and weeding: Drains have still not been emptied. Weeds have grown quite badly during the recent weather, parishioners have complained directly about weeds to SBC.
19/27 Clerk's report
There is still ongoing discussions around evidence needed as to whether the parish council can support the diocese in funding essential tree work. Cllr Russell will discuss the issue with the church and report back at the next meeting.
Action: Parish clerk will write a letter and ask the Parish Council's Association for advice
19/28 Planning updates
None have been received.
19/29 Chairman's questions/items for information/next agenda
The next parish council meeting will be on held on Thursday, 19 September 2019.
